Method

I follow a european method which translates as “action-oriented approach.” This means that my students are very active in their learning. I do not stand and lecture for 30 minutes, explaining some fine point of French grammar. Instead, I use a wide variety of materials (newspapers, magazines, radio programs, TV shows, comics, commercials…) to engage my students in useful conversation almost right away. I focus on useful language skills and vocabulary. I also tailor my lessons to individual students based on their goals, and of course, what interests them.
It is my opinion that learning French should be enjoyable! I try my best to make my lessons fun and engaging, and I believe this is why my method is so successful.
